The National Scholars and Teachers Personal Accident Scheme is a national scheme, which was brokered with the Ministry of Education to cover all teachers and schoolchildren when they are under the custody of the school authorities. The cover provides compensation in respect of Death, Permanent Disability and Medical Expenses for students while on their way to school, at school and on their way from school.
