Chido Chetsanga is the Finance and Support Services director of World Vision International. Chido is a specialist in delivering financial management, auditing, corporate governance and strategic management.

She has also gained vast wealth of diverse experience in her profession having worked for and with large corporates that include, Lake Harvest Aquaculture, HelpAge Zimbabwe, World Vision Rwanda, Agricorp Pvt Ltd, TristarInsurance Company, Afre Corporation, Pearl Properties (2006) Ltd, First Mutual Life Assurance and Ernst and Young.

She holds a Masters in Business Leadership(MBL), Business leadership and corporate governance; Bachelor of Accounting Science, Business Studies. She is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Douglas Hoto

Group Chief Executive Officer

Douglas Hoto is an accomplished business leader and currently holds the reins at First Mutual Holdings Limited as Group Chief Executive Officer.

He holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Mathematics (UZ), is a qualified Actuary with more than 22 years’ experience. He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries of the United Kingdom 1999 (FIFA), and is also a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA).  Douglas is currently a consulting actuary for African Actuarial Consultants, a division of First Mutual Holdings Limited.

Douglas started his actuarial career with Old Mutual in 1990 and worked in both the Harare and Cape Town offices until 1999, when he joined First Mutual Life. He rose through the ranks to become Managing Director of First Mutual Life in 2003 and Chief Executive of First Mutual Limited in 2004.

Douglas was instrumental in setting up First Mutual Reinsurance Company (FMRE Property & Casualty), TristarInsurance Company and African Actuarial Consultants from a Division of First Mutual Life Assurance Society. His career has seen him at the helm of Altfin Holdings, First Mutual Limited and he has held various senior positions at Old Mutual South Africa as well as Old Mutual Zimbabwe.

In addition, Douglas is involved in community transformation initiatives focusing on education. He works closely with national development organizations and is the past chairman for Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency (ZIMSTATS). He serves on a number of boards and is a past chairman of Actuarial Society of Zimbabwe.

Peter Shonhiwa

Peter Shoniwa is a Chartered Insurer and qualified as a fellow of the Insurance Institute of South Africa. He joined First Mutual Life in 1993 as Department Manager – Pensions Marketing, Peter worked as a broker and rose to the position of a Director. His experience in pensions business spans over 30 years.Peter is the current Chairman of the Pension Advisory Committee. He is a Zimbabwe Association of Pension Funds (ZAPF) council member. He also sits on the Pensions Sub-Committee of the Life Offices Association. Peter sits on the Advisory Board of the Department of Insurance and Actuarial Science of the National University of Science & Technology (NUST).

Eilex Muzvondiwa

Eilex Muzvondiwa holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe. He also holds a Masters in Business Leadership from the same institution. His particular areas of expertise are in investments, finance and strategic management. During the course of his extensive banking career, he has been involved in branch management, investment analysis and management, money market operations, microfinance management and training. Mr Muzvondiwa is a member of the Institute of Bankers and sits on the boards of Dyambukai Holdings (Private) Limited, Hackleton Investments (Private) Limited, FMRE Property and Casualty (Private) Limited and TristarInsurance Company Limited.

Elisha Moyo

Elisha Moyo was appointed as Chairman of Pearl Properties (2006) Limited, and as a non-executive director of First Mutual Holdings Limited and TristarInsurance Company. In addition, he also sits on several other boards, including Afrosoft Holdings Limited, having previously served on the boards of Zimnat Life Assurance Company and Sable Chemical Industries. He has served as the General Counsel for TA Holdings, having previously been seconded as Managing Director of Zimnat Lion Insurance Company Limited for a period of 5 years. Prior to that, Elisha performed company secretarial roles for Southampton Assurance Company and its subsidiaries and Intermarket Holdings Limited. He is a current PhD student in Business Administration and he holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Zimbabwe. He is also a holder of a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Bachelor of Law Honours Degree from the same institution.
